Hi, I'm E.L. Oliver!

I live in the UK and I have been writing for many years now.

My first memory of writing down my own stories was when I was about 7 or 8 and my parents bought me a fancy little blue notebook from Tesco after I begged them for it. I filled it with stories of fairies and weemen. 

(I can't remember the exact details of the stories, but weemen were my version of boy fairies.)

Then when I started secondary school my English teacher did a writing competition which I won! I wrote a story about a girl who could go through a portal to another world.

(Again, I can't actually remember the exact details.)

As you can tell I've always had an overactive imagination and as I got older, the fantasy stories turned into romance stories. My first series (Emily's Story) was just an idea in my head from about the age of 17, then about 5 years ago I started writing it down and it eventually progressed into three books!

I work full time and have too many hobbies for my free time, so I write slowly but I always get it onto paper (or Microsoft word) eventually!
